Dipl.-Ing. Arch. Tina Wallbaum  /   Dr.-Ing. Arch. Till Boettger

Tina Wallbaum is a co-founder and director of atelier11. She studied architecture at RWTH Aachen, Germany, and at Universidad de Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina.              She graduated from RWTH Aachen in 2003 with a Diploma at Institute of Prof. Klaus Kada and Institute of Prof. Vladimir Nikolic. She finalized her dissertation „places in designing architecture“ in 2021.

She worked for Raimund Abraham, Steven Holl Architects and TEN Arquitectos (Taller Enrique Norten Architects) in New York, USA. Since 2010 she is registered architect in Berlin, Germany. (AKB 13464)

Currently she is Visiting Professor for Design + Construction at the Faculty of Architecture, HAWK Hildesheim. Before she was managing the Institute of Design and Building,        Technical University Braunschweig for one semester and before she was Assistant Professor and the same institute. Furthermore she was Assistant Professor at the Institute of       Construction and Design, University Kassel. Additional she was teaching and holding lectures at Bauhaus-University Weimar, University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Bauhaus-University Weimar Summer School, New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA and Columbia University NYC, USA.

 

Till Boettger is a co-founder and director of atelier11. He studied architecture at Technical University Dresden, at RWTH Aachen, Germany  and at Ecole d’Architecture Paris-La-Défense, France. He graduated from RWTH Aachen in 2002 with a Diploma at Institute of Prof. Klaus Kada and Institute of Prof. Wim van den Bergh. In 2013 he finalized his        dissertation in architecture „threshold“.

He worked for Kleihues & Kleihues Architects, Muenster, Germany and Smith and Thompson Architects, New York, USA. Since 2006 he is registered architect in Hessen, Germany. (AKH 17965)

Since 2017 he is Professor for Architecture and Design, HAWK, Hildesheim, Germany. Before he was Assistant Professor at Institute Spatial Design, Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany. He was teaching also at New Jersey Institute of Technology and at New York Institute of Technology, USA and some Bauhaus-University Weimar Summer School Workshops.
